About Us
Ray’s Auto Center has been around since 1954. We have built our reputation as a premier auto repair shop in Lakewood, WA, and we service all makes and models at our fully-equipped facility. Our team is ASE-Certified, and we specialize in full-service brake work and engine repair or replacement. Our Story
Ray’s Auto Center has been keeping Lakewood moving since 1954. Our current owner, Steve George, acquired the business from his father Ray and has carried on the family legacy servicing the Lakewood and greater Pierce County area. With over 65 years of trusted business experience, you can be sure our talented mechanics will get the job done right.
Our clients can expect prompt service from our friendly team that has the experience and knowledge to tackle every job thrown our way. We welcome new challenges and learning opportunities, so we work on all vehicles of all makes and models.
Our team of technicians specializes in full service brake work. We are ASE Certified and provide services to repair and replace engines and transmissions. Suspension and brake work is also available, which also includes routine maintenance and repairs.
